Seems likely--if this wine has a problem, it's being too much not too little.originally posted by Thor:

Roussel & Barrouillet Clos Roche Blanche 2006 Touraine Sauvignon No. 2 (Loire) Muted. If its TCA, its below my threshold, but its the most likely explanation; theres just very, very little here. (8/08)

Muri-Gries 2007 Lagrein Rosato (Alto Adige) Strawberry and raspberry rendered in neon. More candied than Id like, but its a Japanese candyone of those things with lemongrass and shrimp that sorta redefines what one thinks of as candy. Its initially offputting, but eventually wins my intellectual side over with a lot of striking complexity. My emotional side remains suspicious of its Technicolor, though. (8/08)

I know what you mean! More on the lemongrass side than the shrimp side with my first bottle, but the shrimp dominated the second bottle when I drank it on week later.
You hit it on the nail!
Regardless of your lemongrass/shrimp impressions, had this with a good group of friends both times. Good times for all.

Did it remind you of Lagrein?
