That's what I was wondering too, but after bringing it up to him in the 'Peripatetic' thread it was news to him as well. Don't know what is going on. I do want to say that I agree with you and I've definitely liked looking back at his notes here on certain things using that 'ol search function. So, whomever did the deleting (FWIW): Not cool.
 
I really hope this is just a software glitch and not some douchebaggian action on the part of a Politburo member. If it turns out to be the latter, that person is truly FUBAR.

Also, I find to hard to lump Thor's tasting notes with most of the bullshit passed of as tasting notes. I feel he is one of the few who is at the top of the often maligned genre.

I mean . . .

What's to complain about?

Well, thanks. To be honest, the primary source of the anti-TN nonsense increases my desire to post them, so you need not worry on that score.

I don't know what happened to the notes. For all I know I screwed up an edit, though it seems odd that I'd screw up that many. I'm not normally computer-incompetent. Obviously (for those with long memories) I've been the victim of some chicanery in the past, on other fora, but I have no idea what happened here. I don't have a reason to suspect those I believe to be on the current Politburo, but of course I might be mistaken about who's on it, and to be sure there was some misbehavior in the past (not directed at me). In any case, there's going to be no good outcome from me pushing this point, so I won't.

The notes would be time-consuming to recover at this point, and I'm not so excited about consuming that time...especially if they're disappearing for no apparent reason...so I'm afraid they're lost to Disorder. Those with a really high tolerance for such things (and an even higher tolerance for puns) could probably find them on my tasting notes blog, but they're not grouped there, nor is that blog fully current; I posted here first.
