    I've not yet had the Prive 06s. I'll have to get over there and taste them. Moderate alcohol in an Oregon 06 is hard to find.

    I agree on the 97 Soter Blanc de blancs. It's excellent. Less than 200 cases produced though.

    The current vintage is 98, I don't think $45 is much for a wine aged that long.

    It has to be faced. The 2006 vintage in Oregon was not great and there were a lot of bad wines made with alcohols pushing 15%. It's hard to find a really exciting Oregon 06 and that Belle Pente is about as good as they get.

    Argyle ET too expensive? You have to be kidding. I think it's one of the best values in sparking wine you can buy. It's the real deal, complex with great texture. Another favorite of mine is Iron Horse Blanc de blancs.
