    Benefit Dinner for Partners-in-Health 10/28

Partners-In-Health Benefit Dinner in Memory of Joe Dressner, Sunday, October 28th. A number of years ago, Joe Dressner suggested to Chambers Street Wines that we use our wine events together to raise money for a charity that would provide quality health care to those in need around the world...

2005 Terres Dorees L'Ancien Vieilles Vignes

We just found 20 bottles in the CSW warehouse, 55 degree storage, real corks... Before the locals walk off with it muttering "...isn't this too old for a Beaujolais?" I thought I would would let it be known. SF Joe told me to...honest.

    2007 Guion Bourgueil

Speaking of Baudry, the 2007 Domaine bottling includes juice from a new parcel in Saint Louans (sandy soil on limestone - origin of some of the earthiest Chinons) as well as from the usual gravel plot in Cravant. The fruit is very complex and a bit softer and better balanced than the 2006...

Unsolicited Aggressively Commercial Post - Dinner with Marc Ollivier

I also have no mucical talent which is why I'm selling wine. I've had two musical nightmares already this week... The CBS record is better, but it's all acutely embarassing. Very good tasting with Christian Ducroux in Regni - has anyone else encountered these wines recently?

Unsolicited Aggressively Commercial Post - Dinner with Marc Ollivier

Chambers Street Wines is sponsoring two heavily subsidised dinners, during whatever LDM is calling this year's winemaker tour. The first is with Marc Ollivier at Five Points Restaurant on Sunday, March 22nd @ 7:30. He will speak some English, sort of, and will pour 05 Briords, 02 Briords and 96...
