    Talk to me, Goose

They're out of Delware, no? Have they opened something out west as well?

    Brooklyn group?

I live in Ditmas Park, have tons of space, and would happily cook/host. Come for the dog, stay for the wine.

    NWR: Iced Coffee

I don't drink it myself, but my wife freezes coffee into iced cubes.

NV Domaine Tissot Crmant du Jura Brut

That's my town!! FWIW, my limited experience with Bornard have been not good. I.e. microbes. Admit it, you just hate the cute fox on the label.

NV Domaine Tissot Crmant du Jura Brut

I know his stuff gets wildly differing views around here, but I really enjoyed a glass of Bornard Crmant BdB the other day. Of course, it was directly after sitting in on a Flanders Red tasting panel, so it could have been Schweppes for all I know.

My wife and I will actually be at that dinner at Buttermilk on the 12th. Looking forward to it.

1998 Thierry Allemand Cornas Chaillot - ready?

A few bottles of this have made their way into my possession. I understand from posts from a few years ago that this was rather tight. Anyone had any recently? Any reason not to try the first one soon? For what it is worth, this will be my first Allemand, so I'm sure they'll all be corked.

    Hello......

I sure hope you like large scale tastings.
  15. R

Who assumes the risk of corked bottles?

I'm always just a tiny bit pleased when I get a flawed bottle from CSW. I get to bring the bottle back and I inevitably leave with two or three bottles. It's like the opposite of the Thunderdome.
