    Suddenly... Nashville.

I'd message Saul M. if he doesn't chime in. He's got Nashville experience. Also, I recall Season 2 Ep. 1 of Mind of a Chef has Sean Brock eating hot chicken at Prince's.

    Cheese Souffle’ Suissesse w/wine

My attempts to search the internet for answers has found a blog post citing a 2007 vintage of this wine that was dry.

    Bereche, Boillot, von Schubert

The negotiant wines have completely different labels than the estate wines. All are labelled as Raphael and Vincent Bereche Crus Sélectionnés and then either 'Cote' 'Montagne' or 'Vallee' in the center of the label depending on where it came from in the greater region. After that, details are...

2002 Bereche Cotes des Blancs Cramant

This is part of their new project Bereche Crus Selectionnes where they've found wines still sur latte, unreleased for one reason or another (retirement, etc.), that they feel deserved to be shared. I believe the 'Cotes' Cramant 2002 was disgorged after more than a decade with the lees.

    What did you drink tonight?

2002 Coudert Tardive last night exceeded my expectations. Fruit had receded some, as it should, but the wine was still fresh, opening up over a couple of hours before disappearing.

    Gilt

Can't say I know. It appears it's still possible to book a reservation on OpenTable, for what that's worth.

    Vatan Vertical Tasting Washington DC

I have 2011 purchased and waiting for me to pick up from Cave Taureau. I would be happy to contribute a bottle, though I'm only partially removed from the realm of the lurkers. Durham and DC are equidistant from my location, so I have no preference there.

    Bossard and the Catholic church

I tasted the 2012 Granite, among others, at the Renaissance tasting about a month ago in the Loire. I have limited previous experience with his wines, but as a fan of Muscadet it was a favorite among the wines that were shown.

A few short notes on wines at Peking Duck House

A recently purchased bottle of 2002 Frederic Emile I enjoyed this past Friday was astoundingly young.

    Fragmented Wine Market in NYC

From afar in VA, I get the impression that that's why Seven Fifty has taken off in NY. It certainly would be time consuming to read every importer's book, but you could theoretically know every wine that is available to you without having to take appointments. Again, I don't actually know the...

    Fragmented Wine Market in NYC

And the Vintner Group/Country Vintner distributes Rosenthal in a couple of states after having bought the companies that were originally charged with the distribution of the wines.

TN: Fourrier 2006 Morey-Saint-Denis "Clos Solon"

He mentioned preferring '06 in Levi's podcast interview as well. A bottle of Fourrier Gevrey Chambertin V.V. 2006 a few months back was excellent, but given it's the only wine of his I have had the chance to drink, and I am still very green when it comes to Burgundy, I'm not sure this is useful...

    loire vintages pre-1989

An edition of Andre Simon's The Noble Grapes and the Great Wines of France I recently found offers generalizations of Loire vintages 1934 to 1958. I'm happy to share when at a computer, though, it appears to be irrelevant for that list.
