Agreed. Thanks for the heads up to look for him on Cellar Tracker. Just added him as a favorite taster.

    Recent wines Fla Jim style

Just had an obviously more youthful 2006 a couple weeks ago that was very enjoyable.

    Chicago

Sorry, just saw this and understand it is too late, but will pile on with many of the recs. Red and White and Perman. Agree with Tristan, than Vin was more Disorderly than the current state, but there are some things to be had there. Besides the Rootstock rec in my hood, Cafe Mare Jeanne...

    Julien Pineau

I thought this would be the perfect choice for Valentines Day, except for the fact my wife didn't care for it, but I did. Pretty coppery pink. Refreshing, tart, nectarine, berries, some citrus.

    Puffeney Poulsard M 2008

Just had a very nice 08 Puffeney Trousseau ‘Les Berangères’ at Lula Café in Chicago on Saturday and no signs of premature aging. Only wish we could have enjoyed it in better stems.

    Just wow

You mean pulling the cork and seeing that it's bad? Doesn't seem like much work to me and a schmuck move like this causes a tremendous amount of ill feelings like this. Was that $35 corkage to cover a few seconds to pull a cork worth the negative exposure here?

    Just wow

Wow, paying a $35 corkage on an undrinkable bottle? Never heard of that... Don't care how good the food is, that would be the last time. What happened to the original quote < We want people to feel like we are actually happy that they are there spending money at our place, and the more we...

    Suddenly... Pittsburgh.

I guess I should have added a bit more color. Domenic, the owner, was extremely friendly and helpful with some menu suggestions. He stopped by my table several times during the evening to chat. The food was excellent, a great value, the room had a nice vibe, and it's BYO. If I lived in...
