San Francisco, April 24 or 25?

WTF

There were no alternate suggestions, so we are starting at 3pm. Til whenever.

The tedious food planning type stuff is mostly being done by email, but I'll post a summary here later if you want.

Currently we are about ten or so, but I plan to press-gang a few more tonight at Terroir. Feel free to do the same.

I just received my case of '04 Ageno (at silly closeout price) so we will have some nice orange wine to drink as well.

Added a few more folks last night. Good to have vlm and skraft onboard. Just make sure he gets some damned boxes packed tomorrow.

Picked up some ramps and other goodies tonight, including some morels. Not as many as I'd have liked though as they were surprisingly, nay, shockingly expensive. Lack of spring rain will do that, I guess. I'll hit the Hog Island stand in the am for some sweetwaters or kumamotos.

still room if anyone else wants to join us; msg me for details

Depending on the hour you'll be at Hog island we're going to do a Philippe Foreau with an oyster breakfast (late breakfast, like lunchish).

like Eden Mylunschish?

Cory, I'm just going to the Hog Island Oyster Company stand at the Saturday farmers market at the Ferry Building. Not the mothership in Marshall. Where are you guys having lunch?

Slaton,
Thank you for being an awesome host. You just whip out those delicious goodies as though they took no effort at all. And thanks for including me even tho I hadn't actually registered over here yet. ;-)

Here's a link to my pics from yesterday:
by rjennings55 I'll follow up with the list of wines later today.

Slaton, you always cook with sunglasses on?

Looks like a great time. I can't believe you got Jarvis Cocker to come to a jeebus.

Thanks all for the crazy amount of good shit you brought over. Good times. I should have forced more leftovers on y'all, sorry.

I started a thread on the main board for posterity, please chime in with your recollections.

Lars, I had just dropped 250 mcg and was feeling paranoid. I was feeling more grounded later, as you can see from the pics.

I seem to have acquired a bone colored Farberware porcelain plate with pale pink, yellow and purple flowers around the rim. Anyone want to claim this?

It's mine Slaton. I'm in no hurry to claim it though. Hey, maybe I could trade you my gingerbread housemaking prize for it. ;-)

Slaton, Sandi has your salad-serving spoon. Apparently, it sunk to the bottom of her bowl along with the tomatos.

If you need it sooner than later, we can figure something out.
