Memphis Rieslingstudy - 3/4/23

Robert Dentice

Robert Dentice
If anyone happens to read this I am doing a Rieslingstudy event in Memphis, Saturday March 4th.

BYOB Lunch 3-6 at The Bar-b-Q Shop

I will be bringing quite the array of rieslings from my cellar. It will be half wine geeks and half non wine geeks. I will be bringing more than enough to supplement the non-geeks as will a couple of the other participants.

Rieslingstudy and Music from 7-1 at Central Memphis Hotel

Cut Chemist is Headlining and we will most likely have a few Memphis Hip Hop Legends stop by.

There will be 4 or 5 Rieslings available by the glass or bottle.

Hit me up on email if you want more information.

In case anyone wonders this is not for profit / money losing labor of love!

Wow, Robert, that sounds like a fantastic event. I will alas be attending a funeral in Florida that day.

You had Cut Chemist spinning at your wine event? That's like inveigling Jesus to show up for a quick prayer at the opening of a new Kia dealership! (but Egon's got all his guys into great wine, so not all that surprising)

-Eden (I once saw Questlove DJing the opening of a fancy chicken joint in Las Vegas -- he was there for like 8 hours and was mindblowingly great throughout)

Cut is an emerging wine geek. I did a three day event with him last year in LA that was comprised of film screenings, live music, listening sessions + food & wine. He is also a very good cook.

This event turned out wonderfully. We had over 300 people at the main event including a number of Memphis music royalty.

Memphis barbecue pairs very well with German riesling. Although the jury is still out for me on barbecue spaghetti.
