can i get a shout out for the 2019 chidaine touraine gamay?

great fruit compote bouquet. similar reserved fruit in the mouth, with plenty of crunchy tannin to keep exuberance from abounding. seriously clean without any stripping of soul. wine. nothing added. nothing removed.
 
Thanks for this - I wonder about the basic Chidaines whenever I see them in inventories. In the same vein, I just received a Chidaine Sauvinon Blanc and Hureau Tuffe, which I'll open and report on pretty soon.
 
i haven't had chidaine sauvignon in a goodly while, but currently have access to hureau tuffe (2017? maybe.) and find it to be really great value and lovely loire cab franc.
 
I've only had the Tuffe once before and my recollection is exactly along those lines - hence my interest now. Candidate house red.

OTOH, I've been through most of a case of Lisagath (I think 2004), which is borderline epic. Hard to understand why Hureau is not more often written about, especially here.
