It is not very handy as you have to know exactly where it is before it will even let you enter the vineyard name. I was going to see what it showed for Clos des Porrets and couldn't offhand figure out all the preceding info needed before it allowed entering "Clos des Porrets".

Not correct.
That is the hierarchical search you used (panel on the left of page), it allows you to find all vineyard sites for whatever region or village you are interested in.
If you enter "Porrets" in the search field on top of the page you get right away what you were looking for.

It is sensitive to accents: "Fuees" finds nothing but "Fuées" does.

That is not ideal. I will ask about it. They are very responsive.
