Nope, the title is not a typo
I couldn't decide what white wine I wanted with Spatchcock Chicken. I even did some googling for ideas. I ended up serving something that was never mentioned in the googling search and perhaps (probably?) won't go over well here.
Ch Beaucastel Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc '19 - Light yellow color, generous variety of scents, smooth palate feel with fine fruits and overall balance, customary long finish. Will only get better with cellar time. [E]
And, yes, we liked it with the chicken, green peas, and kale salad...then chocolate chip cookie and fresh strawberries. Altogether, no regrets.
. . . . . . Pete
