Tom,
The Marc Colin Le Charmois '18 was marvelous as our reception wine.
The Latour-Giraud Meursault Les Genevrieres '10 was delicious and paired well with the tuna course. Excellent color and no sign of any premox issue(s).
The Ponsot Corton-Charlemagne '13 was controversial. I thought it was fine as a forward/advanced grand cru. Many others considered it somewhat premoxed and not their "cup of tea, er, wine". The color was golden yellow, perhaps with a rust tint. The signs that people considered premox largely blew off in the glass. I liked the wine, others not so much. It was my observation that the people I saw who, like me, enjoyed the wine were folks who are quite knowledgeable and enthusiastic about old white Burgundies.
The Le Moine Chambolle-Musigny Les Feusselottes '16 was in a good place and showed very well.
The Dupont-Tisserandot Mazis-Chambertin '12 was a beautiful grand cru, well-situated in its drinking window and with plenty of time left in its life cycle.
. . . . . Pete
