Domaine Jean-Michel Guillon Clos de Vougeot '12 -- Dark red, rather blunt bouquet, muscular profile, full complement of flavors, maybe an oak nuance, enjoyable now and should soften a bit with more time. [E]

Worked well with roast chicken, mashed potatoes, and green beans/yellow squash/okra/shallots.

It smoothed out and opened up the second day and worked even better with lamb chops and roasted butternut squash on a bed of yogurt concoction...then chocolate chip cookie and a chocolate morsel. [A higher grade E]
