Chateau Loudenne '00 -- Dark red, black fruits, quite viable, unpretentious/straight-laced, dusty earth, integrated, drink soon, another Claret representing the lofty 2000 vintage quite well. [VG]

Worked okay with chicken pot pie with mushrooms and leeks.

Pavel, in retrospect, I believe I underrated it. I had the left-over the next night and it struck me as easily worthy of an [E] rating. The Merlot gives it a nice roundness. And it is relatively inexpensive.

I'm glad I have some more.
