I heard from Caroline Morey they run their domaines separately but I don’t know if that was a snapshot in time or if there has been some fluctuation over time.
By extension, per her, the old rumor that her husband made her whites at least was also wrong.
Take with a grain of salt because it’s a bit of a generalization and anecdotal, but IME her entire family has generally been excellent red wine makers over time starting with Grandpere Albert and her dad and uncle and now her, her siblings, and (at least one of) her cousins Thomas. They have great old vines holdings in Beaune, Chassagne, and Santenay.
Interesting to learn this about the Moreys. I have some Thomas Morey whites I bought on prearrival that I need to get delivered, but I will definitely look into trying to track down some of the Morey family reds.
