Minimalist. Good pinot (noir) fruit?

Excellent dark fruit, good brisk acidity...really smooth and earthy...has years of potential ahead of it

I don't believe you. Isn't this one of those wines where you are supposed to list a fruit salad of different flavors?

Trying to get away from fruit salad....

Watch out for Cabs made by this winemaker esp. when he's working as a consultant. They will beat you up. Or at least that's been my experience.
The pinots thankfully have a lighter touch.

Haven't had the Cabs...I've got a pretty tough skin (palate), however,... thanks for the warning... the PN are quite nice and not too heavy handed.

R/M is Thomas Rivers Brown's winery.

Silly me. I thought it was the bottle commemorating Rivers Phoenixs appearance with Marie Osmond on "Winemaking With the Stars".

-Eden (or maybe Johnny Rivers' recording of "Antoinette, Let Them Eat Cake"?)
