1998 Domaine La Roquette Chateauneuf du Pape, alc 14%, $21: Starting to show a little browning...nose is underbrush/leaves and smoked meat...the palate is singing with bittersweet chocolate notes, tart cherry, smoky sausage and a bit of leafiness... the finish is strong and smooth...great texture and length...showing extremely well
