Nice wine. At the nicely-aged-but-should-be-better-in-two-years stage. A good check on the status of the '96s. If this is typical, I'd not be in a hurry to open anything other than Bourgogne AC, but villages can start drinking now. WOuldn't plan on opening any 1ers without planning for significant air time.
