2006 Brun Domaine des Terres Dores Cuve l'Ancien Vieilles Vignes (Beaujolais) Dee-licious. Sweet fruit and plenty of acidic balance, chalky tannins, seamless really. Fake cork.

2005 Montevertine Pian del Ciampolo Toscana (Tuscany) Aromatically shut down but the minerality, elegance, purity is still there. Hold em if you got em.

2006 Domaine de la Quilla Muscadet de Svre-et-Maine Sur Lie (Loire)Plenty of rainwater, lemon squirt, and grapefruit pith with medium body and decent acidity. Hint of mineral core but subdued. A refreshing yet simple melon.

2004 Alain Graillot Crozes-Hermitage (N. Rhne) A nose filled with lavender, eucalyptus, oil cured olives, anise, and dark fruit. There is a bit of green moss mixed with the fruit flavors, along with smoky, black pepper. A silky texture, is structurally well balanced, and has integrated considerably over the past 2 years.

2005 Schloss Wallhausen Roxheimer Berg Riesling Sptlese (Nahe) #15 06 Intense and delicious tropical fruit flavors that are extremely primary with crunchy sweetness. There is a hint of honeybell orange acidity at the finish but right now this wine is showing much more flab than 2 years ago. Try again in 2015.
