Cork Pressure and a Fevre

Between prem'ox panic and fake cork fear, I feel now as though I've got a gun to my head to drink through about five cases in the next few months. There is a certain wet blanket effect, like the effect police surveillance might have on a romantic overture, if you knew they were watching ...

A silver lining was the 02 Fevre Vaudesir we opened tonight: youthful straw color, funky salt marsh-model glue aromas. In drinking, the textures overwhelm the flavors, with minerally-salty sensations, almost creamy viscoscity, and a bracing acid framework, each supporting the other in tortured equipoise. Majestic.

Paired well with humble home-made sourdough crust white pizza.

I have felt the same pressures, but, now that you know that your little stash of bottles is fine, you can calmly let them grow into their maturity.
