2005 Domaine Jean-Louis Chave Ctes du Rhne Mon Coeur, alc 14%, $15: has a great meaty/leafy nose...starting to settle down and shed some baby fat...great texture and mouthfeel...still moderately tannic...many good years ahead...glad I have several more...
 
I did not like the St Joseph estate 05 a tiny little bit as I found it a bit spoofy. Not that I have liked Chave as much after 98. I think Jean-Louis' style of winemaking marks the wines too much
