Hello,
We made a great dinner at the tgjp in Paris last friday with Anjou 2007 : two white (Richard Leroy) and five red (Bruno Rochard, Benoit Courault, Jrme Saurigny & Didier Chaffardon).
See www.tgjp.com
Ask any questions on the forum and I will try to answer.
Best regards

Don't you have air-conditioning for the Jury!

Also, interesting that you had more red Anjou than white Anjou, which is not usually how one thinks of the region in terms of excitement and quality. But nice that you have some 'new' (at least to me) producers doing good work.

All wines were organic and we tried to taste red from cabernet and red from grolleau. This grappes seems to be interesting in Anjou. Benoit Courault is the new kid on the block.
About white, it's more difficult with lot of deviant or no-interesting wines.

Hello Cole,
For your next dinner in Paris (the 73' port sleep as well as possible...), you'll have to choose beetwen Roumier Les Cras, Clos Rougard Le Bourg or Eric Pfifferling (L'Anglore).
Best regards
