You have to go half down the blog to find the portion about Wine Disorder.

It is great the new board is getting so much publicity.

Man publicists feel that you've won the war once you get the bloggers on your side!

Does this come under the heading "any publicity is good publicity?"
Who is this damn 'politburo' and what does a poor blogger have to do to breech their wall of 'cabalism?'
Best, Jim

Wait a second, isn't that the guy who was pals with the Chief Albanian?

He's hanging out with that guy and calling us out for "talking dirty"?

I sense the sinister hand of Enver Hoxha behind this strange attack. Albanian stalking horse! Albanian stalking horse!

where they could act like the prep boys they may once have been

Crazy! I've only recently started embracing my preppiness. I spent most of my life running away from it with dyed mohawks and doc martens. How does Tom know me so well? I'm a bit freaked out.

Was he? So that is the explanation for why he isn't allowed to register here?

I didn't know all this back story but I found it interesting/strange that he equated preppiness with cursing and either of them with Therapy. Does VLM really cast that huge of a shadow? I guess so.

I didn't know that, but that makes as much sense as anything. I do recall him sticking up for Enver on several occasions when he was posting all that spam and porno stuff, albeit before the serious attacks started coming down. And after the first round of attacks I had a brief exchange with him where I said something like "So, you still think your Hoxha pal is harmless?" and he seemed to think it was all some kind of misunderstanding, and that Enver really was a harmless cutup. I personally couldn't decide if he was being incredibly naive, willfully blind, or a planted shill.

This odd "blog" harangue does little to assuage concerns along those lines.

What?Okay, I give up: I've read the Iliad, I know what a Myrmidon is...what is an Eddie Wrinkerman?
Not someone you want to speak about in the third person; but a myrmidon, definitely.

I like Thomas. I only had the opportunity to drink with him once. He kept complaining about the bottle of Saxum I brought (along with others), so I would have thought he fit in well here.

I don't know the man, I'm sure he's a fine guy. But being the lone voice standing up for the arsonist who's burning your house down isn't going to endear you with the home crowd, at least. Wouldn't surprise me if others feel the same, this 'Politburo' included.

But I've got Irish blood, we tend to hold irrational grudges past the point of reason. Others may well be more forgiving.

Actually, there is a very active question of risk/reward involved.
