A parallel universe of uber geekdom

If anything, I find the hard core audiophile world way beyond that of wine, but then again I just may be in so deep that I can't recognize myself anymore.

I will say I think the level of distinction between different stereos is more subtle and esoteric than that of wine.

I would say not, neither one has an edge when comes to real (and imagined) hairsplitting, that goes too for circular discussions talking past each other about angels, pinheads etc.

Can't talk now, there is a raging debate over on the Godard List about the relative merits of Eloge vs. Notre Musique. Lots of folks who were on "hiatus" are chiming in. This one is going to be a doozy!

Woo hoo!!! Amplifier gynecology!

-Eden (it's only fitting, inasmuch as this whole thing started out on audioasylum.com, lo these many years ago)(9 of them already?)

i prefer the naim source myself. in particular for the music forum. lots of stuff i might not have listened to otherwise. no "real" names required. A $5 contribution to the "Real Wine Is Real Health" movement in the name of the first person who can correctly guess who I "am" on the Naim forum.
