'89 Chateau Simard St-Emilion

1989 Chateau Simard St-Emilion, alc 12%, from a 375ml...nose of mulch, leaves and sileage...great combination of sweetness balanced by sour and tannins....the fruit is really rich and mouth filling...this is drinking extremely well....still has 5+ yrs of development....did great with the medium-rare London Broil....
I never have understood this late-release inexpensive Bordeaux but it has been impressive on several occasions....
