I really like Talmard. For 08: more of the same, with a bit more white burg skank than normal. Now under screwcap, which I'm actually ok with.
I'm talking about the Chardonnay here, not the Uchizy. I prefer the Chardonnay usually, but they're both fine. I know they consider the Uchizy to be the more serious of the two.
Always a trip down memory lane for me as cheap Macon is one of the wines that got me into wine and this is for me the best of the cheap Macons. Never fails to elicit praise and enjoyment from all, geeks or not.
I'd rather drink this than Cordier or any of those overripe NBI producers.
