Santa Cruz Mountain Vineyard Jarvis Vineyard Estate Bottled Pinot Noir '94 --
Medium red, slightest edge fade.
Big spice, lots of earth, firm red fruits, toasty nuances, fabulous bouquet, mushrooms (?), spruce/pine tree (?).
Elegant mouth feel, still lively tannins well buffered with raspberry/cherry fruits, excellent grip, perhaps a bit of dried fruit at rear palate, quite complex.
Moderate to good length. [E]
Served with Chicken Scallopini, Spaghettini, Swiss Chard...
