Pungent bouquet, medium black fruits, dark currants, earthy, smoke, complex scents.
Still full tannins offset by thick black fruits, except for the old-world style this wine seems almost youthful, big profile, maybe some glycerol notes.
Moderate to lengthy finish.
If only California still made Cabernet Sauvignons the way William Durney used to make them. [E]
