Yeah, I didn't get into that, did I? It's hard to know with the brett. I would guess the bottles are fairly variable brett wise. For me if it's pretty bretty, my impulse is to drink. But if you had brett free bottles, which is probably a possibility, I would hold a bit. I sensed the material underneath would still benefit from some more age.

Hmmm...I wouldn't describe them like that, at all. I haven't had tons of experience with the various winemakers there, but I think the post Joguet made wines were unduly criticized. I have had plenty of fine wines from the domaine from the late 90s and early 00s. But I haven't had many Joguet made wines, so don't know the depth of the change.
