Bright acidity, medium to light body, a touch deficient in extraction/body, most likely a victim of the carnage of the vintage (according to David Lillie, Gonon said it sucked). More acid than sweet before food, becomes balanced with, then back to unbalanced without. Not thin and green, just thin. But shows finely chiseled creosote that sings and yodels Midi folk songs up my nose. Definitely WOTN.

That note is actually more than half right; 76%, in fact (#sincere words/#total words).

I'm calling bullshit. Sorry, no chiseled creosote or midi folk song notes here. What's up with that?!? I wish I could add or even subtract from Oswaldo's notes above (besides the obvious embellishments), but that is exactly how I see this. Before and after food, it really doesn't have much to it. Nice, a bit of darker red fruit, minerality, a touch thin... With food though, it picks up quite a bit. I had it with some grilled chicken and vegetables and some of couscous. It really filled out, picked up some spiciness and generally went quite well with the food. One for the table then. Nice way to get introduced to Gonon.
