2004 Chateau de Pizay Morgon, alc 13%, $12: With the stupidly shaped bottle and obscure importer (USA wine imports).. my expectations were low.. The nose was promising, however and the palate delivered a crisp strawberry punch with good acidity.. the finish was a little soft and weak but overall the wine outperformed my (low) expectations. Seems to be at it's best point.
