I'm going to imagine this would've been a breath of fresh air for you both.

This was at a very good drinking stage: fruit had softened nicely, there was still some acidity that balanced nicely with that fruit, and NO new oak. Went quite well with baby back ribs on the Weber (hardwood charcoal/mesquite chips for smoking). 2 hours in the oven at 300 degrees F. wrapped in plastic wrap and aluminum foil prior to grilling.
