Muscadet mystery solved

In case anyone other than myself was wondering where all the Dressner wines popping up on winebid were coming from the mystery is solved. Apparently Frank Tota is moving and since he usually buys cases of Muscadet every year he's selling off about half of his stock pre-move.

Lots of good stuff if you haven't checked in yet. If I had anywhere to put them I'd be buying more.

Yes, that's one of the wines that I'm hoping might drop a bit in coming weeks. Wonderful as it is that's more then I'm willing to pay.

chambers was selling them not too long ago, a year ago maybe, for less than 1/2 that. iirc.

Yes, that was my thought too. It's reassuring. Of course it makes the Clos Rougeard that was stolen in transit all the more frustrating (I'm guessing that was his too).

No guesses on who this is? He is bidding on most of these wines and really driving the prices up.

Yes, but this isn't the first week they've been there. I had bought some of thme in previous auctions so I'm wondering if some other lots (which have sold out) were also part of his sale. There was that huge lot of CRB Pif for example as well as all that Clos Rougeard.
