Domaine Pradeaux Bandol Ros 2006 - Obviously not as 'fresh' as it was 3 years ago, but hot damn, it's delicious. The acid is waning, but is really still fighting the good fight. The fruit is darker than it was, more tropical (pineapple), with some candied feeling. No residual sugar though... If you have some drink it now, it's not long for this earth, but delicious now!
Lopez de Heredia Vina Tondonia Rose 2000 - Alive she cried! As you know I am always happy tasting a new bottle from Lopez, and this was my first time with the 2000 rose. Sweet saddle leather with none of the often associated tack room. Acid is great and the wine just takes over all your senses. Definitively oxidized and traditionally styled Lopez - in other words like no other wine out there - this is tasty stuff.
Domaine de Pepiere Granite de Clisson Muscadet 2007 - Imagine gathering granite from the vineyard, pureeing it and drinking the result. That is this wine. Loads of acidity to play with the minerals, this wine is simply perfect right now. Some argue that the wine should be allowed to age a bit, but not me. When a wine is as appealing as this is now, why wait.
Ren Mosse Moussamoussette NV - Cloudy sparkling ros from the Loire valley made by one of the masters. This is simply a thing that you want to slurp in mass quantities. Fruit and.... Forget about it, it is delicious and you should just chug it!
