'97 Paolo Scavino Cannubi Barolo, alc 14.5%...the color is getting brown and there is clearing at the edge...this is a nice balance of savory and a touch of sweetness with a really strong structure and moderate acidity...the finish has an interesting note of iced tea with lemon....very nice with good upside potential...
I am definitely not an Italian wine expert by any stretch of the imagination but this producer seems to appear on "new wave" and "non-traditional" lists commonly...this particular bottle seems much more traditional at this showing...
