Domaine des Deux Anes Premier Pas 2008 Wonderful natural Corbieres. Relatively light, but in no way inconsequential. Much more about earth, w some easier fruit on the back end. An easy going wine with juicy, well-integrated tannin. For the money, awesome.

Domaine Rimbert Les Travers de Marceau 2008 Saint Chinian. For me, this wine is al about he sweet saddle leather. Not in a sugar way, but in a ripe tannin sense. Just gorgeous. There is a richness here that is tempered by its basic structure. Again, cheap for the quality.

Domaine Faillenc Sainte Marie "Syrhconfrence de Presse" 2007 Corbieres. Light tar, plums and ther various darker fruits. Lower acid than in previous years. Very enjoyable, but a little flat. This is normaly an amazing wine and profound value, but I was underwhelmed by the 07.
