Paul does Julia

Even with "good acidity" and "clarity of character," it's tough to imagine success when pairing a Paso Robles Zin with artichokes and lobster. Yikes. Also caught a glimpse of some '82 White Zinfandel in that video; I wonder when they finally decided to kill that line.

Yeah, even a "light" vintage, but it was pushing the envelope in the early 80s I guess.

I can't say I've ever seen an Essence of Zinfandel.

i remember essence. it came in half bottles and wasn't produced every year, iirc.
no idea if they still mak eit or not.
 
Dashe makes it, even if Ridge doesn't...which of course makes sense. It's just called late-harvest, though.
