Domaine St. Anne.

Cuvee Notre Dame des Cellettes, 2001. Everything you could want on a cold, rainy, 1st day of fall sort of day in Seattle. Old school and clean, just a delight.

Joe?

Anyone, anyone?

rosenthal used to have it... good to see it's still in the market, great stuff!

When? I don't remember Rosenthal having those wines any time in the last 20 years. You sure?

It used to come into NC under Steven Grant. Rare wine carries it, but I'm not sure it is in their import book.

I'm partial to the St. Gervais.

actually, i was mixing it up with villa st anna, i believe...

A pretty easy mistake, St. Gervais and Vino Nobile de Montepulciano. [emoticon]

Dom. St. Anne has been one of my house reds for years. In Michigan, it's brought in by A.H.D. Vintners. I just went downstairs and looked at the box.

Click Imports brings it in here, a little regional guy...or at least did. Don't know why someone big doesn't grab them.

Actually, this is SUCH a Rosenthal wine - can't believe he doesn't.

St. Gervais from Ste. Anne defines Mourvedre, in my estimation. I was lucky enough to taste, in March of '02, the unblended, pure Mourvedre from that planting, out of concrete cuve. I don't think I can adequately describe the experience, but I can still feel it, and I'll never forget it.

Easy, they are not certified organic...

Rosenthal only imports organic wines?
