CWD: Who killed claret?

'05 La Parde de Haut-Bailly and '05 Les Fiefs de Lagrange - both dead to me. '73 Heitz Cabernet Sauvignon, on the other hand, was just right. Guess which had the lowest ABV?

'07 Pascal Cotats way, way too young. Very nice wines, though.

I didn't get any Pessac-Leognan in the second wine - not as bad as S-H-L, but far more anonymous than I expected from Haut-Bailly. Having the '73 Heitz right after was really educational.

That's a shame.
I've lost track of when Haut-Bailly was good or not in the past 15 years, I thought they had gone through something nasty in the late 90s but recovered, perhaps temporarily. I recall Y2K being too woody.
The underperformance of the second label of L is quite surprising, as it's been fine for years. But I've not had the 2005.
