04. A junior de Villaine Digoine, earth, wet mud, cherry, vaguely funky, seemingly slightly corked without being so. My favorite label anywhere, and blessedly free of importer graffiti.

A point, great with leftover mashed potatos, roast brussel sprouts, rotisserie chicken. I've had this wine many times in various vintages and this bottle confirms it seems to want a bit of time.

Nothing uber, but a delight.
