fresh, fresh fresh. very aromatic. like a warm spring rain in a sunny meadow replete with lovely damsels and lots of backlight. since freshness is its strong point, i don't look for positive evolution (and of course none is needed). i know i'll have drunk all of mine before the fun lessens.

Opened my first bottle of this tonight (senses only half recovered from a late season cold). I'm in general agreement with this assessment, but I'll also add that it shares not a little similarity to the much-beloved (in this household) '08 ESJ Bone Jolly rouge. Gouleyant in the extreme with a platter of ribs off the smoker.
