It occurs to me that there are a lot of new faces here that may or may not understand what some of us cliquish old farts are talking about when we talk about having a jeebus, or jeebussing. It's been a while since I myself checked out the rules, so I thought for the benefit of all, now would be a good time to link to the rules of jeebus as set forth by our own Andrew Scott just over eight years ago. After all, we are in peak jeebus season.

So, without further ado, Andrew's rules of Jeebus, three different ones.

Thanks for the link, nice history. Certainly before my time. But I'm reminded of the Seinfeld routine about seatbelt instructions on airplanes, so if you can't figure out what a jeebus is then I'm not sure you deserve to attend one.

After all, we are in peak jeebus season.
