anyone have any experience with this?

Um, why would you be so concerned to stop the bleeding when you could just wear a seatbelt?

What's the matter with a styro shipper checked as luggage? It's never failed me.

My experience with Jet Bag consists of:

1. Receiving the same press release earlier today

2. Reading it and mmediately thinking the same thing as SFJoe

-Eden (I mean, who travels with just one bottle of wine in their luggage? It's going to be at least 6-pack)

While that is what I always used, it is unwieldy to tote.
Here is what I use now:
Wine Check

Less than 50 lbs. when fully loaded and the wheels make getting around the airport so much easier.
I really never fly without it.
Best, Jim

As a response to these very courteous group of people, the JetBag was invented because of my own selfish need to transport wine, oil and other liquids from my native Italy. Styro shippers take space from other valuable things I need to take and they pollute, things like the wine-check are good only if wine drinking is the only source of entertainment.

If pressure is the cause of a disaster (for instance, artisan oil is bottle and screw-capped, it always leaks and the top can actually explode), then socks, styrofoam or wine-checks won't help you and you will likely destroy that new Armani suite you bought.

Certainly this is my own, perhaps bias, opinion. But our bags are re-usable, biodegradable, made here in the US and they only weigh 3 ounces, you can squeeze them in the pocket of a jacket. Really economical and easy to use.

Just my two cents!

Marco
