Tamarack Cellars 2009 Chardonnay - Washington State, surprisingly crisp and unspoofy; the spec sheet says they stop malo while there's still about 35% malic acid left; tastes better than their description; not going to buy but somewhat impressed
Maso Michei 2008 Gewurztraminer - yeah! gewurz from Trentino; it's got some ballast (weight, viscosity) but it isn't over-the-top alcoholic nor does it taste like a dump-truck full of lychee; bought and liked
