Marc D turned me onto this. Rose is not really the right term, more like peach (in color). Intense floral top notes, crushed roses, very old school and natural. Aleatico, Niellucciu, Vermentinu. I believe this would be well loved by the residents. I would guess the Romans enjoyed wine not to dissimilar to this.

We drank a Bart Marsannay rose tonight that was very nice.

the night of the Birthday party, so thanks!
Finally we have rose weather.
 
The current Gramenon Sierra du Sud available locally has been rocking my world of late. Appropriate for the current state of greyness.
