Domaine Michel Niellon Chassagne-Montrachet Clos St. Jean 1er Cru '05 -- Appealing bouquet, lots of fruits, some toastiness, well balanced, refreshing acidity, nicely integrated components. [E]

Huët Vouvray Sec Clos du Bourg '09 -- Golden yellow color, complex if light aromas, apples and melons, well balanced, round, medium to full-body, delicious, ample acidity, nice focus, good texture, still young. [E]

Vincent Girardin Corton-Bressandes Grand Cru '99 -- Garnet, berries and cherries, some smoke, leather, nice brightness, moderate tannins, hints of cinnamon, well structured and textured, all the right components. [E]

Lécheneaut Morey St. Denis '99 -- Burgundy fruits, maybe some plums, maybe some raspberries, typical earthiness, well knit, balanced, silky texture, nicely composed, delicious. [E]
