Hello,
We made a dinner at the tgjp in Paris last friday with Languedoc-Roussillon 07-09 (Jean-Francois Nicq from les foulards rouges, Cyril Fhal from le clos du rouge gorge, Didier Barral, Maxime Magnon, Anne-Marie Lavaysse from le petit domaine de gimios) and two chablis 05 (De Moor).

Ask any questions on the forum and I will try to answer.
Best regards

Thanks, Pierre-alain. We opened an 05 De Moor Rosette last week, and it seemed to me that this bottle is just now opening and beginning to hit stride.

Yup. I tried the 05 vintage in 08, 09 & 10 and it was pretty closed. Now, it's very singing.
I drank in jun a 02 vintage. It was still too much straight.
Best regards

The De Moor (at least on the west coast) have been wildly variable for me. From a half case of the 07 Rosette, the first was stunning, the next flat and off, the next two horribly oxidised, and the last two sound and delicious but not nearly as much so as the first that inspired the purchase.
Other people out here have expressed a similar experience. When they are on though, they are certainly a beautiful and unique expression of chablis.
