it was introduced in the prehistory (pre-grosses Gewchs) to replace the auslese trocken (auslese trocken doesn't sell well as a brand)
as usual, egil picked the top trio: the two jeb sl trocken -s- and the kronsberg riesling sl trocken. brilliant in their own right.
i was sceptical at first about 06 because of the might contained in the bottles - but i have unfortunately come to the conclusion that the -s- bottlings are going to be great. more wine and more storage problems ...
