2005 Domaine de l'Ecu (Guy Bossard) "Expression de Gneiss" Muscadet Sèvre et Maine Sur Lie, alc 12%, $17....dense and focused...no sweetness at all...many layers of interest....great with Indian spiced chicken wings....

I have enjoyed all 3 [Granite, Gneiss and Othogneiss] of the 05s and 06s and am still doing so with my current favourite the 05 Granite.

Oddly I have the Les Amis Vignerons d’Anne-Claude Leflaive, Melon sur Granite Muscadet de Sèvre et Maine bottling of the 05 Granite but all the others have the normal Domaine de L'Ecu labels.

There have been reports within the UK of the 05s fading but that has not been my experience.

They have not been fading in both France and Singapore.
